John Formella
John Michael Formella (born 1986/1987) is an American lawyer serving as the 31st Attorney General of New Hampshire since 2021. He previously served as legal counsel for Governor Chris Sununu. Early life and career Formella was born in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been a resident of New Hampshire since 1999, when his family relocated to New Hampshire from Florida. He is the son of John Formella and Nancy Formella. He attended Florida State University from 2004-2009, where he was a member of Phi Betta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in English Literature and later an M.S. in Applied American Politics and Policy. Formella later attended George Washington University Law School, where he graduated with honors and was a member of the George Washington University International Law Review. Steve Crisafulli (born July 26, 1971) is an American politician who served as Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives from 2014 to 2016. He represented the 51st District, which is located in northern Brevard County, including Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, and Rockledge, from 2008 to 2016. History Crisafulli was born in Rockledge in 1971, into a political family, as his cousin, Doyle E. Carlton, served as Governor of Florida from 1929 to 1933, and his grandfather, Vassar B. Gordon J. MacDonald (born November 27, 1961) is an American attorney who has served as the chief justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court since 2021. He previously served as the 30th Attorney General of New Hampshire from 2017 to 2021. Education and early career MacDonald attended public schools in Hanover, New Hampshire, graduating from Hanover High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in government, cum laude, from Dartmouth College in 1983. From 1985 to 1990, MacDonald worked as legislative director for United States Senator Gordon J. Humphrey.
