John Cordier
John Cordier ( Oudenburg, 1 September 1941-Bonheiden, 22 January 2002) was a Belgian businessman. He founded Telindus in 1969, a modem and network component company. In October 1999 he succeeded Julien De Wilde as President of the board of directors of Agoria. John Cordier was also very active in supporting sports, he served as President of the Belgian football club K.V. Mechelen for eleven years from 1982 to 1993. Oudenburg
Oudenburg (; ; ; ) is a municipality and city located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Oudenburg itself and the towns of Ettelgem, Roksem and Westkerke. On January 1, 2006 Oudenburg had a total population of 8,929. Telindus was a legal entity based in Belgium that offered ICT services and solutions to the corporate and public sector, both in Belgium and internationally. These solutions also contained management and support services in relation to their ICT contracts. Telindus was founded by John Cordier in 1969. Based in Heverlee, which is a part of Leuven, it was listed on the stock market in 1985 and grew in Europe by taking over various companies. Julien, Baron De Wilde (b. Wetteren, 7 January 1944) is a Belgian businessman. He is Chairman of Nyrstar, Chairman of the Prince Albert Fund Foundation, honorary chairman of Agoria and a member of the board of Bekaert, Telenet and Agfa-Gevaert. He was made a Baron by H.M.
