John Buccigross
John Buccigross ( ; born January 27, 1966) is an American sportscaster. He has been an anchor for ESPN since 1996. Biography Buccigross was raised in Indiana, Pennsylvania, before moving to Steubenville, Ohio, at age 11. He played basketball at, and graduated from, Steubenville Catholic Central High School. Buccigross graduated from Heidelberg College where he majored in communications and theater arts. Early career Buccigross worked at a Cape Cod, Massachusetts, television station and at WPRI in Providence, Rhode Island. ESPN Buccigross' television duties include ''SportsCenter'' and '' Baseball Tonight''. He formerly served as the lead host of the ''NHL 2Night'' (1998-2004) alongside analysts Barry Melrose, Ray Ferraro, and Darren Pang. Heidelberg University is a private university in Tiffin, Ohio, United States. Founded in 1850, it was known as "Heidelberg College" until 1889 and from 1926 to 2009. You Can Play is a social activism campaign that aims to eliminate homophobia in sports, based on the slogan, "If you can play, you can play." The campaign was launched on March 4, 2012, by three co-founders: Patrick Burke (a scout for the Philadelphia Flyers and son of Brian Burke), Brian Kitts, and Glenn Witman (both affiliated with GForce Sports). The death of Brendan Burke, son of Brian and brother of Patrick, played a significant role in inspiring the campaign. Notably, "You Can Play" is an official partner of the National Hockey League, with Wade Davis serving as the former executive director of the organization. Keith Jones (born November 8, 1968) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and current executive. He was a hockey studio analyst for NBC/NBCSN from 2005–2021 and TNT from 2021–2023. He currently works as the President of Hockey Operations for the Philadelphia Flyers. In 491 NHL games, Jones produced a total of 258 points between 1992 and 2000.
