Johar Ali Khan
Johar Ali Khan (born 22 December 1967) is an Indian classical violinist and composer specializing in Hindustani classical music. He is the son and disciple of Ustad Gohar Ali Khan of the Rampur Gharana and belongs to the prestigious Patiala Gharana. His grandfather, Ustad Ali Baksh Jarnail, was a co-founder of the Patiala Gharana. Johar Ali Khan represented India at the 60th anniversary of UNESCO in Paris, where he composed music for the Melody of Dialogue among Civilizations Association. He also represented India at the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit in Bangladesh. He has performed and conducted workshops in over 30 countries, including Nepal, Bangladesh, England, Syria, Fiji, Djibouti, Ethiopia, the Netherlands, Estonia, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, France, Belgium, Finland, the United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia. Violin
