Johannes Holbek (13 November 1872, in Årby, near Kalundborg – 14 May 1903, in Copenhagen) was a Danish painter and graphic artist. Biography His father was a parish priest. Tennyson
Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron Tennyson (; 6 August 1809 – 6 October 1892) was an English poet. He was the Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom, Poet Laureate during much of Queen Victoria's reign. Museum Jorn, Silkeborg, (formerly Silkeborg Kunstmuseum) is an art museum located by Gudenåen in Silkeborg, Denmark. Asger Oluf Jorn (3 March 1914 – 1 May 1973) was a Danish painter, sculptor, ceramic artist, and author. He was a founding member of the avant-garde movement COBRA and the Situationist International. Copenhagen Municipal Hospital ( Danish: Københavns Kommunehospital) was a hospital that existed from 1863 until 1999 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Its buildings, located on Øster Farimagsgade, opposite Copenhagen Botanical Garden, now form part of the University of Copenhagen's City Campus. History The 1853 Copenhagen cholera outbreak highlighted the need for improvements in the city's healthcare system. It was therefore decided to build a new hospital and a site was selected on the glacis outside the North Rampart of the city's Fortification Ring which was now finally decommissioned. Royal Building Inspector Christian Hansen, who had recently returned to Denmark from Greece was charged with the design of the building. Robert Storm Petersen (19 September 1882 – 6 March 1949) was a Danish cartoonist, writer, animator, illustrator, painter and humorist. He is known almost exclusively by his pen name Storm P. Biography He was the son of a butcher and grew up in Copenhagen in a lower middle class environment.
