Johanna Ter Steege
Johanna ter Steege (born 10 May 1961) is a Dutch actress. She won the European Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her movie debut in '' The Vanishing'' (1988). Among her other films are Robert Altman's '' Vincent & Theo'' (1990), István Szabó's '' Meeting Venus'' (1991) and '' Sweet Emma, Dear Böbe'' (1992), Bernard Rose's ''Immortal Beloved'' (1994), and Bruce Beresford's '' Paradise Road'' (1997). Wierden (; Tweants: ''Wierdn'') is a town and a municipality in the eastern Netherlands, in the province of Overijssel. Stanley Kubrick (; July 26, 1928 – March 7, 1999) was an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and photographer. Johanna van Beethoven (née Reiß eiss 1786–1869) was the sister-in-law of the composer Ludwig van Beethoven. She is remembered for the bitter custody battle between herself and the composer over her son Karl, one of the ugliest and traumatic episodes in the composer's life.
