Johann Kraus (sailor)
Johann Kraus is a fictional character in the comic book series ''Hellboy'', created by Mike Mignola. He is featured in the comic book ''B.P.R.D.'', published by Dark Horse Comics. Kraus is a disembodied ectoplasm (parapsychology), ectoplasmic spirit with psychic abilities, who inhabits a containment suit, without which his form would eventually dissipate and be lost forever. A live action version of Kraus, named Johann ''Krauss'', appeared in the 2008 sequel film ''Hellboy II: The Golden Army'', with his voice provided by Seth MacFarlane. The Ogdru Hem are fictional supervillains in the Hellboy universe. After awakening, the demonic Ogdru Jahad gave birth to the 369 Ogdru Hem. The Ogdru Hem are essentially weaker versions of their parents, but even so they wield unimaginable power. A homunculus ( , , ; "little person") is a representation of a small human being, originally depicted as small statues made out of clay. Popularized in sixteenth-century alchemy and nineteenth-century fiction, it has historically referred to the creation of a miniature, fully formed human. Roger the Homunculus is a fictional character featured in the ''Hellboy'' and ''B.P.R.D.'' comic books published by Dark Horse Comics.
