Johan Ruijsink
Johan Ruijsink (born 21 December 1965) is a Dutch professional pool manager and coach who captained both the European and American teams at the Mosconi Cup. He captained the European team to draw the 2006 Mosconi Cup, and later won six events between 2007 and 2014, going undefeated as European captain. Ruijsink took over as American captain in 2017, and won the 2018 and 2019 Mosconi Cup events. Ruijsink is the only non-playing captain to win the Mosconi Cup as a part of both the European and United States teams. Despite competing at 9 Mosconi Cup events, Ruijsink's only loss came as American captain to his European replacement Marcus Chamat at the 2017 Mosconi Cup. Zierikzee () is a small city in the southwest Netherlands, 50 km southwest of Rotterdam. It is situated in the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland, Zeeland. Ruslan Chinachov
Ruslan Yuryevich Chinakhov (russian: Руслан Юрьевич Чинахов; born 25 January 1992) is a Russian professional primarily nine-ball pool player. Ruslan was the world nine-ball Juniors champion in 2009. Chinakhov has won several events, including the Euro Tour ''Dutch Open 2017'', defeating Christoph Reintjes in the final. Career Ruslan entered his first tournament in 2005, at the age of 13, at the Russian pool championships. The following year, he won the 2006 Kremlin Cup 9-Ball event. 2020 Mosconi Cup
The 2020 Mosconi Cup was a team nine-ball tournament, between teams representing Europe and the United States. It was the 27th edition of the competition and took place between 1–4 December 2020. The event was originally scheduled to be held at the Alexandra Palace in London, however it was moved to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry with the whole event behind closed doors in a Covid-19 secure bubble. The coronavirus pandemic also affected the team selection, with Corey Deuel replacing Justin Bergman for Team USA after Bergman tested positive for Covid-19. Team USA were defending champions, having won the two previous tournaments. After a close first day, Team Europe were 3-2 ahead but only lost one further match, winning the cup 11-3. Jayson Shaw won the Most Valuable Player award for the first time after winning all his singles and doubles matches. Jeremy Jones (pool Player)
Jeremy Jones (born April 30, 1971, in Baytown, Texas) is a professional pool player. He was the 1998 US Open One Pocket champion, the 2003 US Open 9 Ball champion, and has represented Team USA in the Mosconi Cup on seven occasions. Jones was the runner-up at the 1999 WPA World Nine-ball Championship losing 13–8 to Nick Varner in the final. Personal life Jones was first introduced to the pool tables at the age of 17, while he was working as a pizza delivery man in Houston, Texas. He then went on to quit his delivery job and got a job at a games room, in order to be able to play pool for free. After playing pool with friends for many years, Jones began competing in amateur tournaments around the United States. In 1997, Jones won the BCA National 8-Ball Masters, finishing as runner-up the previous year. In 2008 he won the BCA 9-Ball Open. Konstantin Stepanov
Konstantin Stepanov (born 26 September 1983) (russian: Константин Степанов) is a Russian professional pool player. In 2002 he was the Russian 8-ball champion. During the 2006 WPA Men's World Nine-ball Championship he survived the group stages, the round of 64 and the round of 32, but was eliminated in the round of 16 by Ralf Souquet.
