Johan Burlin
Johan Burlin (born April 25, 1989 in Skellefteå) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player. Career Burlin progressed through the youth hockey system maintained by Skellefteå AIK, including playing 31 games with their Elitserien club during the 2008-09 season. On 14 May 2009 left Skellefteå AIK and signed with Borås HC of the HockeyAllsvenskan. He played 12 games with the club before moving to Piteå HC in Division 1, the tier 3 league in Sweden, to complete the season. During the 2010-11 season, Burlin played the majority of the season with Molot-Prikamye Perm a Russian team competing in the VHL. In 2011-12, Burlin returned to Sweden to play for IF Sundsvall Hockey, which was then competing in HockeyAllsvenskan. Burlin was on the move once more for the 2012-13 season, when he played for Lausitzer Füchse in 2nd Bundesliga, the German Tier 2 league. The Lausitzer Füchse (literally ''Lusatian Foxes'') is a professional ice hockey team based in Weißwasser, Saxony. They currently play in DEL2, the second level of ice hockey in Germany. Prior to the 2013–14 season they played in the 2nd Bundesliga. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the world's largest and highest-energy particle collider. English Premier Ice Hockey League
The English Premier Ice Hockey League (EPIHL) was an ice hockey league of 10 teams, all of which were based in England. Headquartered in Blackpool, the EPIHL was one of two professional ice hockey leagues in the United Kingdom (the other being the Elite Ice Hockey League). A total of 27 teams played in the league at one time or another. Swindon Wildcats were the only team to have consistently featured in the EPIHL from its inaugural season in 1997-98. In 2017, the league was disbanded, with its teams either joining the top-tier Elite Ice Hockey League or the second-tier National Ice Hockey League. Manchester Phoenix was a semi professional ice hockey team from Greater Manchester, England. The club was formed in 2003 as a result of the efforts of supporters group ''Friends of Manchester Ice Hockey'' to bring top-level ice hockey back to Manchester after Manchester Storm folded in 2002. The Phoenix team was a founder member of the Elite Ice Hockey League upon its formation in 2003, playing in the 17,500 capacity Manchester Arena. The cost of using such a large facility proved financially untenable, and Phoenix suspended playing operations in 2004 pending the construction of a smaller purpose built ice facility. Construction of the Altrincham Ice Dome commenced in 2006, and the club returned to the Elite League for the 2006–07 season. The Polska Hokej Liga is the premier ice hockey league in Poland. Previously, it was known as the I Liga or Ekstraklasa from 1926 to 1999, and the Polska Liga Hokejowa from 1999 to 2013. In 2013, it was reorganized as a limited liability company and renamed the Polska Hokej Liga. It follows a system of relegation to and promotion to/from the Polish 1. Liga.
