Joginder Singh Mann, is an Indian politician and former Minister. He is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party. Early life Joginder Singh Mann was born into Sikh jaat community to Puran Singh at Phagwara, Punjab. He is also the National President of All India Rangretta Dal. Politics He is a three-time MLA from Phagwara Constituency on Congress ticket. Minister in the Council of Ministers led by former Chief Ministers Late Beant Singh and Harcharan Singh Brar besides Rajinder Kaur Bhattal and Capt Amarinder Singh. He became chairman of the Punjab Agro Industries Corporation (PAIC). Swarna Ram
Swarna Ram (; 1939/1940 – 1 April 2023) was an Indian politician from the state of Punjab. He was a minister from 2007 to 2012 for Technical Education, Industrial Training and Social Security in the Punjab government and the deputy speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly from 18 June 1997 to 26 July 1997. Nawanshahr () is a municipal council in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district in the Indian state of Punjab. It was previously a town; it later became a district in 1995. History Nawanshahr was founded by Nausher Khan, an Afghan, during the reign of emperor Babur. They named it Nawanshahar, which means "the new city (of Nausher Khan)". Dewan Banna Mal Misr (Gautam) was born into the Gautam Brahmin (Shori Gotra) family of Nawanshahr. His father was Vaid, Pandit Jhanda Mal. Dewan Banna Mal was a manager with the full sovereign powers of Maharaja Sir Randhir Singh Bahadur of Kapurthala's estates in Oudh in 1862. Mazhabi Sikh
Mazhabi Sikh (also known as Mazbhabi, Mazbhi, Majhabhi or Majabhi) is a community from Northern India, especially Punjab region, who follow Sikhism. Mazhabi are part of wider category of Sikhs, who convert from the valmiki (chuhra) community. The word ''Mazhabi'' is derived from the Arabic term ''mazhab'' ( Mazhab means religious School of thought), and can be translated as ''the faithful''.
