Joen Jacobsen
Joen Jacobsen (1714 – 12 January 1768) was a Norwegian master builder. He was born in Skien to carpenter Jacob Vetlesen. He was responsible for the construction of a number of churches in Telemark Telemark () is a Counties of Norway, county and a current electoral district in Norway. Telemark borders the counties of Vestfold, Buskerud, Vestland, Rogaland and Agder. In 2020, Telemark merged with the county of Vestfold to form the county o ..., including Langesund Church (from 1753 onwards), Vestre Porsgrunn Church (1756–1758), Østre Porsgrunn Church ( finished 1760) and Solum Church (finished 1766). Joen Danielsen Known as ''Kvívíks-Jógvan (Jógvan of Kvívík)'', (11 June 1843, Kvívík, Faroe Islands – 2 May 1926). He married and settled in the town of Gjógv. Kvívíks-Jógvan was one of the earliest traditional Faroese poets to write poems in the Faroese language. Growing up together with J. P. Gregoriussen in the town of Kvívík when V. U. Hammershaimb was parish priest there, he taught himself to read Faroese by borrowing books from Mr. Hammershaimb. Among the many poems he wrote, Jógvan also wrote traditional Faroese ballads, the most famous being "Kópakvæðið" (the ballad of the Selkie or seal woman) which consists of 68 verses. Joen Steensen Bille (born 11 April 1944 in Frederiksberg) is a Danish actor. He is a member of the noble Bille family, and is also a great-grandson of Henrik Ibsen and Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. He is the son of Irene Ibsen and grandson of Norwegian Prime Minister Sigurd Ibsen. He is married to art historian Bente Scavenius and is the father of actress Beate Bille. Joen Bille has been a theatre actor in Denmark since the early 1970s, and has had roles in a number of TV series.
