Joe Micon
Joe Micon (born March 29, 1958) is an American politician who served as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives for the 26th district from 2004 to 2008. Early life and education Micon was born in Niagara Falls, New York. After graduating from La Salle High School, he earned an Associate of Arts degree from Niagara County Community College, Bachelor of Arts in applied sociology from Purdue University, and Master of Social Work from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Niagara Falls is a city in Niagara County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 48,671. It is adjacent to the Niagara River, across from the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and named after the famed Niagara Falls which they share. The city is within the Buffalo–Niagara Falls metropolitan area and the Western New York region. While the city was formerly occupied by Native Americans, Europeans who migrated to the Niagara Falls in the mid-17th century began to open businesses and develop infrastructure. The Niagara Falls City School District is a public school district containing 11 schools in Niagara Falls, New York. The Superintendent of Schools is Mark Laurrie. History The district was founded in the early 1900s.
