Joe McIntyre (Coronation Street)
Joe McIntyre is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street''. The character was portrayed by actor Reece Dinsdale. Joe was introduced as the father of Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan), and made his first appearance on-screen during the episode that aired in the UK on 26 May 2008. After Dinsdale quit the show in 2009, the character was killed off in February 2010. Known for his bad luck, Joe died whilst trying to fake his own death in order to claim insurance money. Creation and development Dinsdale was hired for the role following auditions. Reece Dinsdale
Reece Dinsdale (born 6 August 1959) is an English actor and director of stage, film and television. He is a Huddersfield Town fan. In 2017 he became a patron of the Square Chapel, an arts centre in Halifax. He is also an honorary patron of The Old Courts multi-arts centre in Wigan Acting career Dinsdale trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama from 1977 until 1980. After initially working in theatre in Exeter, Nottingham, Birmingham and at the Edinburgh Festival, Dinsdale got his first TV role in the Granada thriller ''Knife Edge'' in 1981. He followed this up by appearing in ''Out on the Floor'' a single drama for the BBC in 1982. This led to him being cast as Albert in ''Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime'' series for ITV in 1982. ''Born and Bred'' was a British light-hearted drama series aired on BBC One which ran from 21 April 2002 to 3 August 2005. It was created by Chris Chibnall and Nigel McCrery. The Priory
The Priory Hospital, Roehampton, often referred to as The Priory, is a private mental health hospital in South West London. It was founded in 1872 and is now part of the Priory Group, which was acquired in 2011 by an American private equity firm, Advent International. The Priory has an international reputation and, because of the number of celebrities who have sought treatment there, widespread coverage in the press. Marc Baylis (born 3 April 1978) is a British stage, television and film actor. He trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where he was awarded the Stage Scholarship. Rob Donovan is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', portrayed by Marc Baylis He was introduced as the brother of Carla Connor (Alison King). He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 9 July 2012. John Darwin Disappearance Case
The John Darwin disappearance case involved the faked death of the British former teacher and prison officer John Darwin. Darwin turned up alive in December 2007, five and a half years after he was believed to have died in a canoeing accident. Darwin was arrested and charged with fraud. His wife, Anne, was also arrested and charged for helping Darwin to collect his life insurance of £250,000. The fraudulent death also allowed the couple to pay off their £130,000 mortgage.
