Professional life

After co-devising and producing ''Mighty Truck of Stuff'', a children's TV show for independent UK producer Endemol, Mace then undertook the role of head of Entertainment Development for Children's BBC, where his credits included ''Hotel Trubble'', ''Copycats'' and ''Help! Teach is Coming to Stay''. In 2008 Mace became the head of entertainment development at the BBC, where highlights included ''Tonight's the Night (TV series), Tonight's the Night'', ''Totally Saturday'' and ''Eurovision, Your Country Needs You!''. ''Stepping Out'' is a British competitive dancing talent show that aired on ITV from 31 August to 28 September 2013, hosted by Davina McCall. Play UK was a music and comedy television channel broadcasting in the United Kingdom as part of the UKTV network of channels. Play UK broadcast 24/7 on digital platforms, but on the Sky Analogue platform on the Astra 19.2°E satellite system, it broadcast during UK Horizons's overnight downtime of 1am and 7am, when UK Horizons was not broadcasting. ''The Saturday Show'' is a British children's television series that aired on BBC One from 22 September 2001 to 3 September 2005. It was the replacement for ''Live & Kicking'' and contained a mix of audience participation, cartoons, games and gunge. ''Top of the Pops'' (''TOTP'') is a British record chart television programme, made by the BBC and broadcast weekly between 1January 1964 and 30 July 2006. ''Deal or No Deal'' is the name of several closely related television game shows, the first of which (launching the format) was the Dutch '' Miljoenenjacht'' (''Hunt/Chase for Millions''). The centerpiece of this format is the final round (a.k.a. the "case game" or "main game") which is played with up to 26 cases (or, in some versions, boxes), each containing randomly assigned sums of money.
