Joe Handrick
Joe Handrick (born 1965) is a former member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Biography Handrick was born on November 2, 1965, in Minocqua, Wisconsin. Later, he would graduate from Lakeland Union High School and the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a degree in Occupational Therapy. He is married and has three children. Career Handrick was first elected to the Assembly in 1994 and re-elected in 1996 and 1998. Handrick was appointed Minocqua Town Chairman in January 2006 following the resignation of Chairman Don Gauger.http://www.townofmincoqua.org/ Handrick was re-elected to this post in 2007 and 2009. Wisconsin State Assembly
The Wisconsin State Assembly is the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature. Together with the smaller Wisconsin Senate, the two constitute the legislative branch of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Representatives are elected for two-year terms, elected during the fall elections. If a vacancy occurs in an Assembly seat between elections, it may be filled only by a special election. The Wisconsin Constitution limits the size of the State Assembly to between 54 and 100 members inclusive. Since 1973, the state has been divided into 99 Assembly districts apportioned amongst the state based on population as determined by the decennial census, for a total of 99 representatives. Minocqua, Wisconsin
Minocqua ( oj, Minwaakwaa) is a town in northwestern Oneida County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 4,388 as of 2017. The census-designated place of Minocqua and the unincorporated community of Rantz are both located in the town. Minocqua is commonly referred to as "The Island City." History Minocqua was officially organized in the year 1889. Although there are varying explanations regarding the meaning of the word "Minocqua", most credit its origin to the Island's first inhabitants, the Ojibwe.
