Joe Enright
Joseph Thomas Enright was an Irish professional footballer who played as a forward in the Football League for Leeds City. He also played in the Southern League for Newport County and Coventry City and won an international cap for Ireland. Personal life Enwright was born at home on Glasses Lane (now Griffith Street) in Athlone to Thomas Enright, a labourer, and Elizabeth Enright (''née'' Garty). Enwright served in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps during the First World War. Athlone
Athlone (; ) is a town on the border of County Roscommon and County Westmeath, Ireland. It is located on the River Shannon near the southern shore of Lough Ree. It is the second most populous town in the Midlands Region with a population of 21,349 in the 2016 census. Following the foundation of the FA Premier League, the Football League divisions were renumbered and the third tier became known as the Football League Second Division.
