Joe Carpenter (rugby Union)
Joseph Carpenter (born 19 August 2001) is an English professional rugby union player who plays as a full-back for Premiership Rugby club Sale Sharks. Early life Carpenter was born in Leeds. He attended Lawnswood School before then moving to Woodhouse Grove School. He began playing rugby at the age of five, playing for West Park Leeds RUFC. Carpenter joined the Leeds Carnegie academy at the age of 15. Club career Carpenter signed for Sale Sharks in August 2019. He made his debut for the club off the bench in the European Rugby Champions Cup in January 2020, in a 30–23 loss to La Rochelle. He then made his first start on 18 January in the same competition against Glasgow Warriors. In March 2021 Carpenter joined Nottingham on dual registration. Leeds
Leeds is a city in West Yorkshire, England. It is the largest settlement in Yorkshire and the administrative centre of the City of Leeds Metropolitan Borough, which is the second most populous district in the United Kingdom. Wasps RFC
Wasps Rugby Football Club was a professional rugby union team. They last played in Premiership Rugby, the top division of English rugby, until being suspended on 12 October 2022. On 17 October 2022, the club entered administration, resulting in relegation from the league and all staff being made redundant. They exited administration on 16 December 2022. Founded in 1867 as Wasps FC, Wasps Football Club, from 1923 to 1996 they were based at Repton Avenue in Sudbury, London. From 1996 to 2002 the team played at Loftus Road in Shepherd's Bush, London and from 2002 to 2014 they played at Adams Park in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. 2025 England Rugby Union Tour Of Argentina And The United States
I July 2025, the England national rugby union team toured Argentina as part of the 2025 mid-year rugby union tests. The tour consisted of a two-test series against Argentina, followed by a third test against the United States. It was the seventh test series contested between England and Argentina, and the first since 2017, when England won the series 2–0. 2024 England Rugby Union Tour Of New Zealand
In July 2024, the England rugby union team toured New Zealand, where they played two tests against the New Zealand national team, a part of the 2024 Summer Internationals. On the way to New Zealand, England also played a match against Japan at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo. The tour was first reported by ''The Times'' in December 2022, shortly after England coach Eddie Jones was sacked and replaced by Steve Borthwick by the Rugby Football Union (RFU). Although Southern Hemisphere tours have typically been played on a three-test basis, as in the 2014 tour; the 2016 and 2022 tours of Australia; and the 2018 tour of South Africa, all Northern Hemisphere touring teams (with Scotland being an exception) returned to two-tests. The England Under 20 rugby team are the newest representative rugby union team from England. They replace the two former age grade teams Under 19s and Under 21s. They compete in the annual Six Nations Under 20s Championship and World Rugby Under 20 Championship. The head coach of the team is Alan Dickens. The Salford Community Stadium is a rugby stadium in Barton-upon-Irwell, England, built to replace Salford rugby league club's ground the Willows for the 2012 season. Sale Sharks rugby union club have also played at the stadium since the 2012–13 season. Ownership Initial development In 2005, Salford City Council approved plans for the Reds to move from the Willows to the brownfield site at Barton. The stadium was originally to be developed by Red City Developments, with construction to be complete for the start of the 2009 season. However, RCD went into administration in July 2008.
