Jock Brandis is an author, film actor, film technician, inventor, and humanitarian. Brandis has received the 2006 '' Popular Mechanics'' Breakthrough Award for Innovation and the 2008 Purpose Prize, which he received in recognition for his work and experience. Brandis was born in the Netherlands and moved to Canada in his youth. The Peace Corps is an independent agency and program of the United States government that trains and deploys volunteers to provide international development assistance.
