Ann Wynia (née Jobe, born September 29, 1943) is an American politician who served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 1977 to 1989. A member of the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party, Democratic Farmer-Labor Party, Wynia represented portions of the city of St. Paul, Minnesota, St. Paul and served as Minnesota House Majority Leader, Majority Leader from 1987 to 1989. In 1989 Governor Rudy Perpich appointed her Commissioner oMinnesota's Department of Human Servicesuntil 1990. Jobe Wheelhouse (born 14 April 1985 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian football (soccer) player who plays for Lambton Jaffas. Club career Wheelhouse was unavailable for the majority of the 2006-07 A-League season and made his return against Perth Glory in Round 1 of the 2007–08 season. Since returning, the often unfairly maligned Wheelhouse has impressed for the Jets, one of the standouts in Newcastle's disastrous 2008–09 A-League campaign, where they plummeted from champions to wooden spooners in one season. Sami Jo (born Jane Annette Jobe on May 9, 1947 in Batesville, Arkansas) is an American former singer. She is best known for her 1974 single " Tell Me a Lie", which peaked at No. 21 on the Pop Top 40 that same year. The song also peaked at number 43 in Australia. Sami Jo was raised in a religious family in Batesville, AR. She began singing on local radio at age 3 and was also a local beauty queen during high school. Momodou Lamin Sedat Jobe (24 July 1944 – 6 April 2025) was a Gambian diplomat who was the Gambian Foreign Minister from 1998 to August 2001. He lived in self-imposed exile in Sweden and was heading the pro-democracy Gambia Consultative Council, which was established in 2013.
