	Joannes Grapheus Joannes Grapheus (1502, Alost - 1571) was an early printer based in Antwerp. His brother was Cornelis Scribonius Grapheus the Antwerp city clerk. He married Elisabeth Van Amersfoort, daughter of Gerhard Amersfoort. 	Cornelius Grapheus Cornelius Grapheus (1482 – 19 December 1558), Latinized from Cornelis De Schrijver, was a secretary to the city of Antwerp and writer. Life Grapheus was born in Aalst, County of Flanders, in 1482. His brother was Joannes Grapheus, the printer who also settled in Antwerp. As a young man Cornelius travelled in Italy. When Thomas More's '' Utopia'' was first printed in 1516, Grapheus provided some liminary verses. By 1520 he was secretary to the city of Antwerp, writing a Latin panegyric to greet Charles V on his return to that city from Spain. In 1522 he was arrested on accusation of heresy, was taken to Brussels for questioning, and made a full recantation.S.B.J. 	John Siberch John Siberch ( 1476–1554) was the first Cambridge printer and an associate of Erasmus. Life Early life Johann Lair was born in c.1476 to Peter (a master wool weaver and town councillor) and Lena von Lair. The family moved from Sieglar (Lair), to nearby Siegburg, during his childhood and he adopted the name of this town when he enrolled at the University of Cologne as Johann de Syberch, on 5 December 1492. Early career Siberch became involved in the book trade in the 1510s, initially as a travelling salesman for the bookseller Hans Beck of Cologne.
