Joanna Frank (born ) is an American actress. Career Her first role was in Elia Kazan's 1963 film ''America, America'' as the character "Vartuhi", and she also appeared in ''The Young Animals'' (1968) and the cult biker film '' The Savage Seven'' (1968). Her later film credits included roles in Henry Jaglom's ''Always, But Not Forever'' (1985), and the romantic comedy '' Say Anything...'' (1989). On television her first roles were as the malevolent "Regina" in '' The Outer Limits'' episode " ZZZZZ" (Season 1, Episode 18), which aired January 27, 1964. The following day, January 28, 1964, the episode "Where the Action Is" in '' The Fugitive'' in which she appeared as "Chris Polichek", aired (Season 1, Episode 18). Alan L. Rachins (; October 3, 1942 – November 2, 2024) was an American actor, known for his role as Douglas Brackman in ''L.A. Law'' which earned him both Golden Globe and Emmy nominations, and his portrayal of Larry (Dharma's hippie father) on the television series '' Dharma & Greg''. Early life Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on October 3, 1942, Rachins was the only child of Edward and Ida Rachins of Brookline, Massachusetts. Both his parents were Jewish, and his father worked in a family food manufacturing business, Snow Crest. ''The Young Animals'', also known as ''Born Wild'', is a 1968 drama film directed by Maury Dexter. It was the second in a four-picture deal he did with AIP and was filmed at Tucson, Arizona. Plot WASP Bruce (David Macklin) and his gang beat up Mexican American Paco (Zooey Hall) and rape his girlfriend, Raquel (Joanna Frank). Super cool Latino Tony (Tom Nardini) comes to town and hits it off with the blonde Janet (Patty McCormack), who Bruce thinks is his girl. Bruce and his pals chase Tony down, but let him go with a warning to stay away from Janet. ''Richie Brockelman, Private Eye'' is an American detective drama that was broadcast on NBC for five episodes in March and April 1978, with Dennis Dugan in the starring role. ''The Rockford Files'' was used to launch the series via character crossover in a 2-hour episode at the end of the 1977-78 season. Premise The hour-long series focused on Richie Brockelman, a 22-year-old, college-educated private investigator with his own agency in Los Angeles, California. ''Probe'' is a 1972 American made-for-television crime sci-fi thriller film produced as a pilot for a science fiction detective series, originally to have continued under that title. Created by Leslie Stevens, it starred Hugh O'Brian as Hugh Lockwood, one of a group of high-tech private eyes working for the organization "World Securities Corp." When picked up for series production, the title was changed to ''Search'', because ''Probe'' was the name of an existing PBS series. The film originally aired February 21, 1972 on NBC. Neurosurgeon Joseph Ransohoff served as a medical consultant for the show.
