Joan Osborne
Joan Elizabeth Osborne (born July 8, 1962) is an American singer, songwriter, and interpreter of music, having recorded and performed in various popular American musical genres including rock, pop, soul, R&B, blues, and country. She is best known for her recording of the Eric Bazilian-penned song "One of Us (Joan Osborne song), One of Us" from her debut album, ''Relish (album), Relish'' (1995). Both the single and the album became worldwide hits and garnered a combined seven Grammy Award nominations. Osborne has toured with Motown Records, Motown sidemen the Funk Brothers and was featured in the documentary film about them, ''Standing in the Shadows of Motown'' (2002). Anchorage is a list of Kentucky cities, home rule-class city in eastern Jefferson County, Kentucky, Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States. Jeff Buckley
Jeffrey Scott Buckley (raised as Scott Moorhead; November 17, 1966 – May 29, 1997) was an American musician. After a decade as a session guitarist in Los Angeles, he attracted a cult following in the early 1990s performing at venues in the East Village, Manhattan. He signed with Columbia, recruited a band, and released his only studio album, ''Grace'', in 1994. Buckley toured extensively to promote ''Grace'', with concerts in the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Australia. In 1996, Buckley worked on his second album with the working title '' My Sweetheart the Drunk'' in New York City with Tom Verlaine as the producer. In February 1997, he resumed work after moving to Memphis, Tennessee. Chris Whitley
Christopher Becker Whitley (August 31, 1960 – November 20, 2005) was an American blues/rock singer-songwriter and guitarist. Whitley's sound was drawn from the traditions of blues, jazz and rock and he recorded songs by artists from many genres. During his 25-year career, he released 17 albums. While two songs landed in the top 50 of the Billboard mainstream rock charts and he received two Independent Music Awards, he remained on the fringes of both the blues and alternative-rock worlds. He died in 2005 of lung cancer at the age of 45. Blues Traveler is an American rock band that formed in Princeton, New Jersey, in 1987. They are known for their extensive use of segues in live performances, and could be considered a key part of the re-emerging jam band scene of the 1990s, spearheading the H.O.R.D.E. touring music festival. The group comprises singer and harmonica player John Popper, guitarist Chan Kinchla, drummer Brendan Hill, bassist Tad Kinchla, and keyboardist Ben Wilson. Tad Kinchla and Ben Wilson joined the band following the death of original bassist Bobby Sheehan in 1999.
