Joakim
Joakim or Joacim is a male given name primarily used in Scandinavian languages, Estonian and Finnish. It is derived from a transliteration of the Hebrew יהוֹיָקִים, and literally means "lifted by Jehovah". In the Old Testament, Jehoiakim was a king of Judah. In deutero-canonical texts, Joakim is the husband of Susanna, the central character in the narrative of Susanna (Daniel 13), and the high priest who leads the people of Israel in prayer in the Book of Judith. In the Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Anglican traditions, Saint Joachim was the husband of Saint Anne and the father of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Karl Jockum Jonas "Joakim" Bonnier (31 January 1930 – 11 June 1972), commonly known as Jo Bonnier, was a Swedish racing driver and motorsport executive, who competed in Formula One from to . Bonnier won the 1959 Dutch Grand Prix with BRM. Born and raised in Stockholm, Bonnier was the son of geneticist Gert Bonnier and born into the wealthy Bonnier family, the controlling family of the eponymous Bonnier Group. Herbert Joakim "Jocke" Berg (born 16 March 1970) is a Swedish singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer of the alternative rock band Kent. Biography Berg was born and grew up in Eskilstuna. He moved to Stockholm in 1993 after the founding of Kent, and has lived there since. Berg was the main songwriter, lead singer and rhythm guitarist in the band, which officially disbanded on 17 December 2016, according to the band's official web site. Joakim Anders Andersson (born 5 February 1989) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey centre who played in the for Swedish Hockey League (SHL) and with the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League (NHL). Andersson was drafted 88th overall by the Red Wings in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Andersson is a product of Munkedals BK.
