The ''League of Legends'' Championship of The Americas, also known as the League of The Americas (LTA), is the top level of professional ''League of Legends'' in the Americas, which includes the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. The esports league is run by Riot Games and has sixteen teams split into two conferences, North and South. Each annual season of competition is divided into three splits, with playoff competition between the top teams.
