Jo Lodge (author)
Joanna Lodge (born 6 January 1968 Harrogate) is a retired British long-distance runner. She represented Great Britain in the Marathon at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics and in the 1999 edition of the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships. Lodge grew up in Liverpool and was a good club athlete at Liverpool Harriers. Her first marathon was with the uncategorised masses at the 1995 London Marathon where she finished with a respectable time of 3 hrs 9mins. A win at the 1999 Fleet Half Marathon was a precursor to representing Great Britain at the 1999 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships where she finished 48th behind compatriots Marian Sutton(22nd) and Birhan Dagne(29th). An excellent finish in the 2002 Berlin Marathon, in a personal best time of 2:34:17 gave her a place in the British team at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics in Paris. Harrogate
Harrogate ( ) is a spa town and the administrative centre of the Borough of Harrogate in North Yorkshire, England. Historically in the West Riding of Yorkshire, the town is a tourist destination and its visitor attractions include its spa waters and RHS Harlow Carr gardens. away from the town centre is the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Nidderdale AONB. Harrogate grew out of two smaller settlements, High Harrogate and Low Harrogate, in the 17th century. Bath Half Marathon
The Bath Half Marathon (also known as the "BATHALF") is an annual road running half marathon held in Bath, England, normally on the second or third Sunday in March. It has been held almost every year since 1982. The race was first run in the year after the first London Marathon and has remained a popular race for runners preparing for that event. The next race is scheduled for Sunday 16 October 2022. It is the largest one-day charity fundraising event in South West England, raising over £2.2 million for charity in 2016.
