Jo Hamilton (interior Designer)
Jo Hamilton (born in Eton, Berkshire) is a leading British interior designer and artist, known for her expertise in colour. She is the founder and creative director of Jo Hamilton Interiors, taking on residential and commercial work in the UK and abroad. Hamilton is also a newspaper columnist and runs interior design courses at her countryside studio in West Sussex. Hamilton has been a show ambassador and key speaker foHouse in Dublin's RDS, and the Index Exhibition, in Dubai's World Trade Centre. She was also the long-term resident interior designer at Grand Designs Live in both London and Birmingham as well as a key speaker and one of three "show ambassadors" along with Kevin McCloud and Charlie Luxton, and formerly George Clarke (architect). Eton, Berkshire
Eton ( ) is a town in Berkshire, England, on the opposite bank of the River Thames to Windsor, connected to it by Windsor Bridge. The civil parish, which also includes the village of Eton Wick two miles west of the town, had a population of 4,692 at the 2011 Census. Within the boundaries of the historic county of Buckinghamshire, in 1974 it became part of the Berkshire admin area following the Local Government Act 1972; since 1998 it has been part of the unitary authority of Windsor and Maidenhead. 60-Minute Makeover
''60 Minute Makeover'' was a British daytime home interior design television programme broadcast on ITV, and later by Quest Red. In 2013, the show's name changed to reflect the change in presenter to Peter Andre. Format The challenge was to redecorate and makeover a number of rooms in a house in 60 minutes. The house owner is usually nominated by a relative or friend for a secret visit by the ''60 Minute Makeover'' team who remodel their house whilst they are away. On returning, the owners are given a tour of their remodelled rooms by the host. The cost of the makeover is stated at the end of each show. The house owner earning the makeover is often in need of help due to illness or difficult times.
