Jito Kok
Jito Kok (born 23 March 1994) is a Dutch professional basketball player who plays for Heroes Den Bosch of the BNXT League. Standing at 206 cm (6 ft 9 in), Kok plays as center. He also plays for the Netherlands national team. Professional career On 14 June 2016, Kok signed a one-year deal with Lavrio B.C. of the Greek Basket League. In February 2017, Kok signed with AVIS Rapla of the Estonian KML. On 11 July 2018, Kok returned to his native country by signing with Dutch Windmills of the Dutch Basketball League (DBL). On 10 April 2019, Windmills withdrew from the DBL due to its financial problems. On 25 April, Kok signed with Kangoeroes Mechelen. Mechelen was eliminated in the playoff quarterfinals as the eight seed. On 14 May 2020, Kok signed a temporary contract with BG Göttingen of the German Basketball Bundesliga. 2021–22 BNXT League
The 2021–22 BNXT League is the inaugural season of the BNXT League, the highest professional basketball league in Belgium and the Netherlands. It replaces the Dutch Basketball League and the Pro Basketball League. The season started with the BNXT Supercup on 19 September, while the regular season began on 24 September 2021. The season ended on 11 June 2022 with the final game of the Finals. ZZ Leiden won the inaugural BNXT championship. Heroes Den Bosch won the Dutch national championship while Filou Oostende won the Belgian national championship. The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) (English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. The playoffs are played in a " Best of five" format. The winning team of the final round are crowned the German Champions of that season. The Dutch Basketball League (DBL), formerly the Eredivisie, was the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands, run by the Federatie Eredivisie Basketball (FEB). Since 2021, the league has been replaced by the Belgian-Dutch BNXT League. The league had a closed system: to participate, a team has to have enough money and potential. The Korvpalli Meistriliiga ( en, Basketball Champions League), known as the OlyBet Korvpalli Meistriliiga for sponsorship reasons, is the highest tier level and most important professional basketball league in Estonia. It is controlled by the Estonian Basketball Association. The first Estonian Basketball Championship tournament was held in 1925. During Soviet era (1941–1991) the league was called the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic Championship. The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece.
