Jiro Manio (born 9 May 1992) is a Filipino former actor. He is best known for his portrayal of the title character in the drama film ''Magnifico'' (2003), for which he won the Gawad Urian for Best Actor at age 12, making him the youngest-ever winner in that category. is a Japanese retired sushi chef and owner of Sukiyabashi Jiro, a sushi restaurant in Ginza, Chūō, Tokyo, Japan. Ono is regarded by his contemporaries as one of the greatest living sushi craftsmen and is credited with innovating methods used in modern sushi preparation. Early years Ono was born in the city of Tenryū (present-day Hamamatsu) in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
