Jinino Manansala
Jinino "Jino" Manansala is a Filipino basketball coach for Saint Claire Saints in NAASCU. He is the son of former PBA player Jimmy Manansala. Career Playing Manansala was a former UST Growling Tigers player under Aric del Rosario. He became team captain in 2003, on his final year of playing and del Rosario's final year of coaching the team. Coaching Saint Claire Since 2012, Manansala coached the Saint Claire Saints in NAASCU, and on his first year, he won a championship. The team made finals for the next 3 years, all losing to CEU Scorpions, before creating another 4-peat championship from 2016 until 2019. UST Manansala was appointed as UST Tiger Cubs head coach since 2020. UST Growling Tigers Basketball
The UST Growling Tigers basketball is the intercollegiate men's basketball program of the University of Santo Tomas. The school has won 19 basketball titles including one in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). They are one of the winningest teams in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) with 18 championships, the last coming in 2006 during Pido Jarencio's rookie year of coaching. Their head coach as of July 22, 2022 is Bal David. Schedule overview The Growling Tigers' preparation for the season begins in late-March, or at the tailend of the academic year. UST Growling Tigers
The UST Growling Tigers are the college athletic teams representing the University of Santo Tomas in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. They hold the most UAAP Overall Championships with 44 Seniors' Overall Championships (out of 73 seasons) and 21 Juniors' Overall Championships (out of 26 seasons). UST is one of four member universities that participate in all 15 sporting events of the league. They also take part in various sports leagues such as the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup, the Premier Volleyball League and the UNIGAMES. Aric Del Rosario
Januario "Aric" del Rosario (January 1, 1940 – March 25, 2020) was a Filipino basketball player and coach who served as head coach of the UST Growling Tigers in the UAAP, Pampanga Dragons in the Metropolitan Basketball Association, the 2003 RP Men's Team in the Southeast Asian Games, and of the UPHSD Altas from 2012 to 2015; until he retired and was made a consultant of the team in the NCAA. He was also a consultant and assistant Coach of Toyota-Balintawak Road Kings in the Philippine Basketball League. He was the commissioner of the NCAA (Philippines) from 2009 to 2011. Bal David
Bal Viray David Jr. (born August 23, 1972) is a Filipino coach and retired professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He played as point guard for the Barangay Ginebra Kings. He is the current head coach of the UST Growling Tigers men's basketball, UST Growling Tigers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Amateur career David was a standout for the University of Santo Tomas (UST), leading the UST Growling Tigers men's basketball, Growling Tigers to the UAAP Season 57, 1994 UAAP men's basketball championship. His field-goal at the dying seconds of Game 3 allowed the Tigers to defeat the De La Salle Green Archers 2–1 in the championship series.
