He served in the South Carolina Senate as a member of the Democratic Party from 1972 to 1976 and in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1969 to 1970, representing Richland County, South Carolina. Aynor is a small town in Horry County, South Carolina, United States, south of Galivants Ferry. The population was 560 at the 2010 census and estimated in 2018 to be 934.
