Jimmy Constable
James Michael Constable (born 21 September 1971) is an English pop music, pop singer, songwriter and dancer. He is a member of the pop music, pop band 911 (English group), 911. Early life Constable was born in Oxford Street Maternity Hospital, Liverpool to parents Margaret and Ronnie. He is a fan of Liverpool F.C. Career 1990s: ''The Hitman and Her'' Constable began his career in the early 1990s as a dancer on the late-night ITV (TV network), ITV dance music show ''The Hitman and Her''. 1995–2000: 911 Whilst on the show, Constable met Spike Dawbarn, Simon "Spike" Dawbarn and Jason Orange. Having seen how successful the latter went on to become with his band Take That, Constable and Dawbarn put their own band together, and 911 (English group), 911 was born. 911 (English Group)
911 (pronounced "nine one one") are an English pop group consisting of Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Simon "Spike" Dawbarn. They were formed in Glasgow in 1995 and released their debut single, a cover of Shalamar's " Night to Remember", in April 1996. This was followed by their debut album, '' The Journey'', in March 1997, which was certified Gold by the BPI in November 1997. 911 released two more Silver-certified albums, '' Moving On'' and '' There It Is'', in 1998 and 1999, respectively. ''There It Is'' also produced their only UK number-one single, a cover of " A Little Bit More", which topped the UK Singles Chart in January 1999. In their five years together, 911 scored ten UK top 10 singles. Five (occasionally stylised as 5ive) are an English boy band formed in 1997 consisting of members Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson (singer), Scott Robinson, Abz Love and Jason "J" Brown. Upper Street (band)
Upper Street were a UK boy band formed in 2006 from the MTV-produced reality television series '' Totally Boyband''. The members of the band were all ex-members of other groups. They were Dane Bowers of Another Level, Jimmy Constable of 911, Bradley McIntosh of S Club 7, and Danny Wood of New Kids on the Block. Lee Latchford-Evans of Steps was also originally in the line-up, but left due to conflict within the group. Their only single, "The One" was released in the United Kingdom on 23 October 2006 by Concept Records. Totally Boyband
''Totally Boyband'' is a television programme directed by Ross Norman that aired in the United Kingdom on MTV. The programme debuted on 18 September 2006 and aired on Sunday nights at 21:30 ( GMT). The premise centred on the former members of boy bands and pop music bands attempting to regain their former fame by regrouping into a new band called Upper Street. A single called "The One (That Got Away)" was released on 23 October 2006, but spent only one week at number 35 after entering the UK Singles Chart on 29 October.
