Jimi Pääkallo
Jimi Constantine (born Konstantinos Jorma Hiekkanen, 31 December 1981) is a Finnish musician and actor. He was previously the vocalist and guitarist of the band Technicolour (rock band), Technicolour and has also played with the bands Tyrävyö, Cliché (band), Cliché, and Kalle Päätalo. His previous artist name was Jimi Pääkallo. Constantine is also an actor, having appeared in the films ''A Long Hot Summer (film), A Long Hot Summer'' (1999), ''Pearls and Pigs'' (2003), and ''8 Days to Premiere'' (2008), as well as the TV series ''Kallio'' (2010) and ''Salatut elämät'' (2000–2011). In 2008, Constantine participated in the Tanssii tähtien kanssa, Finland's version of the British show ''Strictly Come Dancing'', and ''Suomen Pelkokerroin'', the Finnish version of ''Fear Factor''. Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu
(; abbreviated UMK; ; ) is an annual music contest organised by the Finnish public broadcaster Yle. It made its debut in 2012 as the format for the Eurovision Song Contest, replacing the previous Finnish Eurovision selection which had been held since 1961. is the Finnish version of '' The Best Singers'' series broadcast on Finnish Nelonen commercial television channel fashioned on the successful Dutch series ''De beste zangers van Nederland''. Each day, one artist would be chosen, and the remaining artists would perform covers of their songs and would be assessed by the original artist. The last day would be dedicated to duets of the most popular performances. The title of the Finnish series is inspired by the 1973 song ''Vain elämää'' ("It's only life") by Irwin Goodman. Finland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Da Da Dam" written by Axel Ehnström, and performed by Paradise Oskar, which is the artistic name of singer Axel Ehnström. The Finnish participating broadcaster, (Yle), organised the national final in order to select the Finnish entry for the contest. 15 entries were selected to compete in the national final, which consisted of three semi-finals and a final, taking place in January and February 2011. Ten entries ultimately competed in the final on 12 February where votes from the public selected "Da Da Dam" performed by Paradise Oskar as the winner. Finland was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 10 May 2011. ''Fear Factor'' is an American stunt/ dare game show that first aired on NBC from 2001 to 2006 and was initially hosted by comedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan.
