Jim McDonnell (boxer)
Jim McDonnell (born 12 September 1960) is a British former boxer who won the European featherweight title and twice fought for World titles at super featherweight. Career Amateur He represented England and won a silver medal in the lightweight division, at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He won the 1982 Amateur Boxing Association British lightweight title, when boxing out of the St. Pancras ABC. Professional Born in London and a caretaker working for Camden Council outside of boxing, McDonnell made his professional debut in March 1983 with a points win over Phil Duke. In March 1985 he beat Clyde Ruan to take the BBBofC Southern Area featherweight title, a fight that was also a British title eliminator. Jamie McDonnell (boxer)
Jamie McDonnell (born 30 March 1986) is a British former professional boxer and three time bantamweight champion, who competed from 2005 to 2019. He held the IBF bantamweight title in 2013 and the WBA bantamweight title from 2014 to 2018. He held multiple regional bantamweight championships, including the British title twice between 2010 and 2011; the Commonwealth title from 2010 to 2011; and the European title from 2010 to 2012. He is the twin brother of fellow boxer Gavin McDonnell. Azumah Nelson
Azumah Nelson (born 19 July 1958, affectionately known as the Professor) is a Ghanaian former professional boxer who competed from 1979 to 2008. He was a two-weight world champion, having held the WBC featherweight title from 1984 to 1987 and the WBC super-featherweight title twice between 1988 and 1997. He also challenged once for the unified WBC and IBF lightweight titles in 1990. At regional level, he held the ABU, and Commonwealth featherweight titles between 1980 and 1982. Finbar Patrick "Barry" McGuigan MBE (born 28 February 1961) is an Irish boxing promoter and former professional boxer. Born in Clones, County Monaghan, McGuigan was nicknamed ''The Clones Cyclone'' and held the WBA and lineal featherweight titles from 1985 to 1986. He held the WBA super-featherweight title from 1986 to 1991, ''The Ring'' super-featherweight title from 1986 to 1988, and the IBF super-featherweight title from 1991 to 1992.
