Jim Jones Discography
American rapper Jim Jones has released eight studio albums, five collaborative albums, three compilation albums, two extended plays (EPs), nineteen mixtapes and 47 singles (including 17 as a featured artist). Jones is perhaps best known for being a member of East Coast hip hop group The Diplomats (also known as Dipset), with whom he recorded several mixtapes with before releasing their debut album ''Diplomatic Immunity'', in 2003. In August 2004, Jones released his solo debut album '' On My Way to Church'', under Diplomat Records and E1 Music (formerly Koch Records). Joseph Guillermo Jones II (born July 15, 1976), better known by his stage name Jim Jones (or Jimmy Jones), is an American rapper and record executive. He is a founding member of now-defunct hip-hop group the Diplomats (also known as Dipset), who formed in 1997 with fellow Harlem native Cam'ron. Following the commercially successful release of the group's debut album ''Diplomatic Immunity (The Diplomats album), Diplomatic Immunity'' (2003), Jones released his debut solo album, ''On My Way to Church'' (2004), independently to moderate success. Cameron Ezike Giles (born February 4, 1976), known Mononym, mononymously as Cam'ron, is an American rapper. Beginning his career in the early 1990s as Killa Cam, Giles signed with Lance Rivera, Lance "Un" Rivera's Lance Rivera, Untertainment, an imprint of Epic Records to release his first two studio albums ''Confessions of Fire'' (1998) and ''S.D.E., S.D.E. (Sports Drugs & Entertainment)'' (2000); the former received Music recording certification, gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America, RIAA. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100, also known as simply the Hot 100, is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), online streaming, and radio airplay in the U.S. A new chart is compiled and released online to the public by ''Billboard''s website on Tuesdays but post-dated to the following Saturday, when the printed magazine first reaches newsstands. The song is Jim Jones' highest-charting single to date, charting at number five on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. It was written by Jones and produced by Zukhan Bey who produced his previous single, " Baby Girl". Music video The music video was directed by Dale Resteghini (a.k.a. RAGE) and Jim Jones (a.k.a. Charley Wingate (born May 21, 1978), better known by his stage name Max B (short for Max Biggaveli), is an American rapper and singer. He is best known for his solo ''Public Domain'' and ''Million Dollar Baby'' series of mixtapes, and introducing the term "wavy" as a slang in popular lexicon. He made his mixtape debut in 2006, and signed a recording deal with fellow Harlem-based rapper Jim Jones (rapper), Jim Jones' label/group ByrdGang. Following a streak of financial and ethical grievances, Max B parted ways with Jones in 2008.
