Ronald James William Crawford Lindsay (18 November 1937 – 24 July 2024), known professionally as Jimmy Crawford, was an English pop music singer. He is best known for his cover version of "I Love How You Love Me" (1961). Life and career Crawford was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England on 18 November 1937. He was educated at the Central Technical School in Sheffield, and later worked as a draughtsman at Davy United. Crawford was a competition swimmer, after learning to overcome his fear of the water during his spell of National service in the Army. Crawford was a contemporary of fellow Sheffield-born singer, Dave Berry. He formed his first band, Ron Lindsay and the Coasters, and played in local clubs, but found chart success as a solo artist. James Frederick Crawford (born September 29, 1950) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Crawford pitched in all or part of five seasons in Major League Baseball between 1973 and 1978. He appeared in 181 games, all but 14 in relief. High school Jim attended Rincon High School in Tucson, Arizona. He was originally drafted right out go high school in the 14th round (324th overall) of the 1969 June Baseball draft by the San Diego Padres but did not sign and chose to pitch at Arizona State University. James Alan Crawford (13 February 1948 – 6 August 2002) was a British racing driver from Scotland. His first motorsport experience came behind the wheel of a Mini that he drove in several rallies. After an unsuccessful stint in Formula Ford he landed a drive in his friend Stephen Choularton's team in Formula Atlantic, after showing great promise in a couple of Formula Libre races at Croft. He went on to spend a number of years driving alongside Choularton at SDC Racing in Formula Atlantic and was spotted by Lotus Cars and offered a test drive by them. He participated in two World Championship Formula One Grands Prix, debuting on 19 July 1975. He was also the winner of the 1982 British Formula One Championship. Distance Medley Relay At The NCAA Division I Indoor Track And Field Championships
The distance medley relay has been held at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships annually since 1967. Since 1997, the race consists of a 1200 meters leg followed by a 400 meters sprint, followed by an 800 meters leg and concluding with the 1600 meters anchor for a total distance of 4000 meters. Before 1997, the order of the legs was different, with the 800 m leg leading off and the 1200 m leg third. Before 1994, imperial analogues of the four legs were held instead, from 880 yards to 440 yards to 1320 yards to the mile run anchor. Hand timing was used until 1975 and in 1980, while in all other years fully automatic timing was used. The race was not held in 1983 or from 1986 to 1993. The women's race began in 1994. Official relay splits were published by Flash Results beginning in 2008.
