Jim Beach
Henry James Beach (born 9 March 1942) is a British lawyer and band manager, best known for being the long-time manager of the rock band Queen, its individual members and the comedy group Monty Python. He was nicknamed "Miami" by Freddie Mercury, a play on his surname. He took over as manager of the band in 1978 after he had acted on their behalf as a lawyer. Beach is co-founder of Transistor Project, together with Blur's Dave Rowntree. Beach is also the co-founder of the Mercury Phoenix Trust, which promotes AIDS prevention worldwide. Beach lives in Montreux, Switzerland. Early life Beach was born in Gloucester. He was educated at Cheltenham College and Queens' College, Cambridge, where he read law. Gloucester
Gloucester ( ) is a cathedral city, non-metropolitan district and the county town of Gloucestershire in the South West England, South West of England. David Graeme Garden (born 18 February 1943) is a Scottish comedian, actor, author, artist and television presenter. He is best known as a member of The Goodies and a regular panellist on '' I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue''. Early life and education Garden was born on 18 February 1943 in Aberdeen, Scotland, and raised in Preston, Lancashire, England, only son (with a daughter) of (1910–1982), an eminent orthopaedic surgeon who created the Garden classification of hip fractures, and his wife Janet Ann (née McHardy). Roger Meddows Taylor (born 26 July 1949) is an English musician, songwriter and record producer. He achieved international fame as the drummer and backing vocalist for the rock band Queen (band), Queen. The idea for the band was mooted in 1999 by three members of the group who had met at a party to mark the solar eclipse, however it was not until 2002 that the band finally took shape. Eric Idle
Eric Idle (born 29 March 1943) is an English actor, comedian, songwriter, musician, screenwriter and playwright. He was a member of the British comedy group Monty Python and the parody rock band the Rutles. Idle studied English at Pembroke College, Cambridge, and joined Cambridge University Footlights.
