Jihad Shehadeh
Jihad Maharaj Ibrahim Abdul Wahab Shehadeh (; 18 February 1999 – 6 November 2023) was a Palestinian military commander and co-founder of the Tulkarm Battalion. He was one of Israel's most wanted, as he was accused of directing and carrying out a series of shootings at IDF forces at Israeli military checkpoints. Biography Shehadeh was born to a family from the Tulkarm refugee camp, attending various schools in his youth. He co-founded the Tulkarm Battalion - Rapid Response military branch with Amir Abu Khadija, and Shehadeh later took total command of it. Israeli intelligence forces requested Shehadeh to surrender himself several times throughout his career, to which he declined. He was placed at the district headquarters for al-Qassam for three months in hiding, and then subsequently left to return to military activity. Tulkarm Camp
Tulkarm Camp () is a Palestinian refugee camp north of the West Bank in the city of Tulkarm, established in 1950 on 0.18 km2 by the UNRWA. It is the second largest refugee camp in the West Bank, as well as one of the most densely populated. The camp was severely affected during the Second Intifada by incursions, arrests, raids and curfews. Incursions still take place, though on a more irregular basis. In 2013, the health centre was reconstructed with project funds amounting to US$1.7 million. Tulkarm camp has four UNRWA schools. The al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades () are a Fatah-aligned coalition of Palestinian armed groups in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Amir Abu Khadijeh
Amir Imad Amin Abu Khadijeh (; January 13, 1999 – March 23, 2023) was a Palestinian militant and former leader of the Tulkarm Brigade. He was from the city of Tulkarm. According to Israeli sources, Khadijeh, who was involved in multiple shooting incidents towards civilians in the area and security forces operating at the Tanim checkpoint, was located and targeted by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), Border Police Anti-Terrorism units, following intelligence gathered by the Shin Bet.
