Jibon Rahman
Jibon Rahman (1964 – 16 January 2020) was a Bangladeshi film director. He directed 15 films. Biography Rahman was born in 1964 at Mothkhola in Pakundia of Kishoreganj. His first direction ''Gohor Badsha Banecha Pori'' was released in the early 90s. Rahman directed ''Prem Juddho'' which was released in 1994. In this film Salman Shah worked as a playback singer for the first time in his career. He recorded a song titled "Tumi Amar Jiboner Ek Swapno Jeno" for this film. This film is selected for preservation in the Bangladesh Film Archive. Rahman also directed films like ''Ajker Sontrasi'' and ''Ashar Pradip''. These films are also selected for preservation in the Bangladesh Film Archive. Pakundia ( bn, পাকুন্দিয়া) is an upazila (subdistrict) in Kishoreganj District, Dhaka Division, Bangladesh. Its total land area is . It has a population of 237,218 residents. It was formed in 1922 as a thana. On the 14th of September 1983, it was turned into an upazila. Geography Pakundia is located at . It has 39,924 households and total area . It is bounded by the Old Brahmaputra and Gafargaon to its west, Kapasia to its southwest, Manohardi to its south, Katiadi to the southeast, Kishoreganj Sadar to the north, and Hossainpur to its northwest. The Old Brahmaputra is the main river of Pakundia. Kishoreganj ( bn, কিশোরগঞ্জ) is a district in Dhaka Division, Bangladesh. Earlier it was a Mohkuma (মহকুমা) under the Mymensingh district. It was taken 2495.07 sq. km of land from Mymensingh district to form present day Kishoreganj District. Kishorganj consists of eight municipalities, 13 upazilas, 105 union parishads, 39 wards, 145 mahallas, 946 mouzas and 1775 villages. Salman Shah (actor)
Shahriar Chowdhury Emon (19 September 1971 – 6 September 1996) known by his stage name Salman Shah was a Bangladeshi film and television actor. He started his career with the first episode of the television serial ''Pathor Shomoy''. He got breakthrough for his role in the film ''Keyamat Theke Keyamat''. His death in 1996 was ruled as a suicide, a claim that is disputed by his family. Early life and career Shah was born as Shahriar Chowdhury Emon on 19 September 1971 in Zakiganj, Sylhet, Bangladesh to Nilufar Zaman Chowdhury and Kamaruddin Chowdhury. He had a younger brother Chowdhury Mohammad Shahran Evan. In 1993, Shah got his break-through in the film ''Keyamot Theke Keyamot'', directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan.
