Jhoomer is a 1959 Pakistani film directed by Masood Parvez, producer by Khwaja Khurshid Anwar who wrote the screenplay also. The music composition was also done by Anwar and lyrics by Tanvir Naqvi. Khwaja Khurshid Anwar
Khwaja Khurshid Anwar (21 March 1912 − 30 October 1984) was a Pakistani filmmaker, writer, director and music composer who earned recognition in both India and Pakistan. He is credited as being one of the most original and inventive music directors of his generation. He was the Programme Producer (Music) at (AIR), All India Radio or Akashvani (radio broadcaster), Delhi in 1939. Musarrat Nazir
Musarrat Nazir Khawaja ( ur, ; born 13 October 1937) is a Pakistani singer and film actress, who acted in many Urdu and Punjabi films. She, many years later, also sang solo, mostly wedding and folk songs. Early life Her parents were a Punjabi middle-class family Kashmiri origin from Lahore. Her father Khwaja Nazir Ahmed, worked as a registered contractor in Lahore Municipal corporation. Early in her life, her parents wanted her to be a doctor, and provided her with the best possible education they could afford. Musarrat passed the matriculation examination (10th grade) with distinction and passed the intermediate examination (12th grade) from Kinnaird College in Lahore. Masood Parvez
Masood Parvez (1918 10 March 2001), also spelled as Masud Pervaiz, was a Pakistani film director known for his work in Lollywood. He also worked in Indian films before partition of India and after migrating to Pakistan, he produced most of his work in Pakistani films where he made his directorial debut with ''Beli'' (1950). ''Beli'' (1950) was the first film of Sabiha Khanum and Santosh Kumar besides being directorial debut of Parvez. The film flopped at the box office due to political instabilities caused by the partition. It was also the debut film of Rashid Attre in Pakistan. Naheed Niazi (born 26 February 1941) is a former Pakistani playback singer who performed in the Lollywood movies during the era of 1960s. She is married to musician Muslehuddin; her sister is the singer Najma Niazi. She is known for her playback songs, "Chali Re Chali Re Main To Des Piya Ke Chali Re", "Raat Saloni Ayi", and others. Life and career Naheed was born as Shahida Niazi on 26 February 1941. Her father Sajjad Sarwar Khan Niazi was a poet and musician, and was also a director at Radio Pakistan. Munir Hussain (singer)
Munir Hussain (1930 - 27 September 1995) was a Pakistani playback singer. While working in Pakistani films for over thirty-eight years, he primarily sung for Urdu and Punjabi language films. His work include 217 songs in 163 films. He was one of the first Pakistani singers who earned his recognition in Lollywood, a film industry that produces Urdu and Punjabi-language films. Despite of his classical music background and prominence in film industry, he was not able to achieve recognition initially because of Ahmed Rushdi and later because of Masood Rana.
