Jett Adore
Jett Adore is an American burlesque dancer. He has performed as part of Stage Door Johnnies, Chicago's only all-male burlesque troop. Due to his career success, Adore has been referred to as the Prince of Boylesque and is an inductee of the Burlesque Hall of Fame. Biography Jett Adore has a degree in musical theater. Adore dances alongside Ray Gunn and Bazuka Joe in Stage Door Johnnies. The Stage Door Johnnies, founded in 2007, is the only all-male burlesque troop based in Chicago. In 2011 he performed at the New York Burlesque Festival. In 2013 Adore performed in La Divina Productions' show ''Hotter Then Hell Burlesque'' at the Kessler Theater in Dallas. In 2014 he was a performer at the Show Me Burlesque Festival in St. Louis, Missouri, the Texas Burlesque Festival, the Helsinki Burlesque Festival in Finland, and the Vienna Boylesque Festival in Austria. Burlesque Hall Of Fame
The Burlesque Hall of Fame (BHOF) is the world's only museum dedicated to the history, preservation, and future of the art of American burlesque, burlesque. Located in the Las Vegas Arts district at 1027 S Main st. #110, BHOF is a tourist destination and non-profit 501 (c)(3) educational organization offering tours of its vast Collection of costumes, memorabilia, props and ephemera from burlesque's heyday through contemporary practice; classes for individuals and groups at all levels including beginner; movie screenings; research access for students and journalists; and a gift shop. New York Burlesque Festival
The New York Burlesque Festival is an annual four-day event that takes place in New York City each fall, where performers from all over the world appear on stages for musical acts, burlesque shows, and other performances. History The festival premiered in 2003 and was founded by Jen Gapay of Thirsty Girl Productions along with Angie Pontani, Tara Pontani and Helen Pontani of The World Famous Pontani Sisters. Actress and burlesque artist Pearls Daily has been on the Production Team as Volunteer Coordinator since 2016, in addition to performing as part of the event. Helsinki Burlesque Festival
The Helsinki Burlesque Festival was an annual burlesque festival held in Helsinki, Finland, in late winter every year. The festival was started in 2008 by the Hulapirates Team (Bettie Blackheart, Frank Doggenstein and Kiki Hawaiji). Since 2010, the festival was produced by Bettie Blackheart and Frank Doggenstein from the Helsinki Burlesque organization. The final festival was held in 2017. The festival lasted approximately one week, starting on Friday and ending on Sunday the following week, although not all days had events. The main event was held on Saturday on the second week, and consisted mainly of performances by various burlesque artists.
