Jessica May Lane (born 5 October 2002) is an Australian beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Earth 2024 on November 9, 2024 in the Philippines. She is the first Australian to win the title, making Australia the sixth country to secure crowns in all Big Four beauty pageants. Life and career Lane was born in Melbourne, Victoria (state), Victoria and is of Irish people, Irish descent. She is studying journalism and creative writing at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. The Sunshine Coast Daily is an online newspaper specifically serving the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland, Australia. It is owned by News Corp Australia. It was originally founded as a print newspaper, however since 2020 the publication is only available in digital forms. Huỳnh Thị Thanh Thủy (born 1 July 2002) is a Vietnamese model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss International 2024, she previously was crowned Miss Vietnam 2022. The Sinulog Festival (also known as Sinug and Sulog) is an annual Filipino cultural and religious festival held on the third Sunday of January in Cebu, with the center of the activities being in Cebu City; and is the core of Santo Niño Christian celebrations in the country.
