Jesse Riedel (born March 27, 1999), better known as Jesser, formerly JesserTheLazer, is an American YouTuber who makes videos based around basketball, being the largest basketball creator on the platform. His videos usually include challenges or meeting professional athletes. Early life Jesse Riedel was born on March 27, 1999, in Westlake Village, California. His father, Guy, is a film producer who has worked on films such as ''Wedding Crashers'' and ''Office Space''. His brother, James, is also a YouTuber, going by the alias Jiedel. Jesser began making videos in elementary school, filming skits with his brother. In 2013, when he was in middle school, he began to make videos about the video games ''Minecraft'' and '' Counter-Strike: Global Offensive'', being inspired by English YouTuber Syndicate. Westlake High School (also known as Westlake High, Westlake, or WHS) is a public school (government funded), public high school in the Westlake Village, California, Westlake neighborhood of Thousand Oaks, California, Thousand Oaks, in Ventura County, California. Westlake High School serves grades 9–12 in the Conejo Valley Unified School District. The 13th Annual Streamy Awards was the thirteenth installment of the Streamy Awards honoring the best in American streaming television series and their creators. Produced by Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter, the ceremony was held at The Fairmont Century Plaza in Beverly Hills, California on August 27, 2023. Hosted by popular creator MatPat, it was the first time the ceremony was held in summer, moved from its previous winter date. A new award called Rolling Stone Sound of the Year Award launched, celebrating songs popular on social media. The 12th Annual Streamy Awards was the twelfth installment of the Streamy Awards honoring the best in American streaming television series and their creators. The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game is an annual exhibition basketball game hosted by the National Basketball Association as it takes place during the NBA All-Star Weekend and features retired NBA players, WNBA players, actors, musicians and athletes from sports other than basketball. The NBA Slam Dunk Contest (officially known as the AT&T Slam Dunk) is an annual National Basketball Association (NBA) competition held during the NBA All-Star Weekend. The contest was conceived of and started by the American Basketball Association (ABA) for its 1976 ABA All-Star Game in Denver. The winner was Julius Erving of the New York Nets.
