Heaven Below is an American hard rock band based in Los Angeles. The band's debut album ''Countdown to Devil'' was released March 2009. History The band was formed in late 2007 by Patrick Kennison ( Union Underground), Marty O'Brien (Disturbed, We Are the Fallen) and session drummer Chad Clark to film a video for Kennison's song "The Laughing Dead". In 2008 guitarist Dave Comer was added completing the quartet. Later that year Comer and O'Brien were replaced by guitarist Jesse Billson and bassist John Younger respectively. '' Countdown to Devil '' Following the release of '' Countdown to Devil'', the group completed its first tour in mid-2009 dubbed the "Texas Takeover Tour". Femme Fatale was an American hard rock band. Originally from Albuquerque, the band moved to Los Angeles and released one studio album before disbanding. Lead vocalist Lorraine Lewis restarted the band in 2013 with an all-female line-up. History Formation and disbandment (1987–1990) Femme Fatale was formed in 1987 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. Later on that year, the band moved to Los Angeles and signed a recording contract with MCA Records after a well-received showcase. The Iron Maidens are an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 2001 as an all-female tribute act to English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. The band currently consists of drummer Linda McDonald, bassist Wanda Ortiz, lead vocalist Kirsten Rosenberg and guitarists Nikki Stringfield and Shani Kimelman. Nikki Stringfield (born 1990) is an American heavy metal musician. She is the current guitarist for The Iron Maidens, Femme Fatale, and Heaven Below, as well as the former guitarist for Before the Mourning. Early life Born in 1990 in Red Oak, Texas, Stringfield attended Red Oak High School and graduated in 2008. She studied at The University of Texas in Austin, graduating in 2012 with a degree in Radio/TV/Film. Career After an internship with Warner Brothers Music Stringfield moved to Los Angeles in January 2012 and became part of American melodic metal bands Before the Mourning and The Iron Maidens. In 2014, Stringfield and Before the Mourning parted ways, after which time Stringfield joined Femme Fatale in May 2015. In September 2015, The Iron Maidens brought the former guest guitarist on as a settled member for the ensemble.
