Jesse Baird
Jesse Alan Baird (4 September 1997 – 19 February 2024) was an Australian television presenter and Australian rules football goal umpire. Baird worked as a presenter and reporter on various Network 10 programs, including ''Totally Wild'', '' Gamify'' and ''Studio 10''. He officiated 62 matches as an Australian Football League umpire, including two finals. Early life Baird was born in Melbourne, where he grew up in the north-eastern suburbs. He graduated from Loyola College in 2015, then achieved a Bachelor of Education degree from La Trobe University in 2019, majoring in drama and media. He moved to Brisbane in early 2017 to pursue a television career. He moved to Sydney in 2023 for further producing and umpiring work. Skip (container)
A skip (or skip bin) is a large open-topped waste container designed for loading onto a special type of lorry. Typically skip bins have a distinctive shape: the longitudinal cross-section of the skip bin is either a trapezium or two stacked trapezia. The lower trapezium has the smaller edge at the bottom of the skip bin, and a longer edge at the top. The smaller edge on either end is lower which makes it easier to load. Where there is an upper trapezium, it has the smaller edge at the top. There is a sloping floor or wall at each end. 2024 AFL Season
The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game. Originally known as the Victorian Football League (VFL), it was founded in 1896 as a breakaway competition from the Victorian Football Association (VFA), with its inaugural season commencing the following year.
