Jesper Modin, born June 4, 1988, in Selånger, Sweden is a Swedish cross-country skier who has competed at international top level since 2005. During the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he finished 18th in the individual sprint event. The ''Fédération internationale de ski et de snowboard'' (FIS; en, International Ski and Snowboard Federation) is the highest international governing body for skiing and snowboarding. The 50 kilometre has been skated as a mass start event at the World Championships since 2005 and since the 2006 Winter Olympics.
