Jersey Shore Boca
Jersey Shore Boca are an American soccer club based in Ocean County, New Jersey. In 2003, the club joined the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. After just one season, the team left the league due to financial reasons. They continue to play in the USASA. They played their home games in the stadium at Ocean County College in the city of Toms River, New Jersey. The team’s colors were white, blue and yellow. In 2012, Jersey Shore Boca became the first amateur club from New Jersey to qualify for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in the modern pro-soccer era. Ocean County College (OCC) is a public community college in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. Its main campus is in Toms River. Other locations include the Southern Education Center in the Manahawkin section of Stafford Township and multiple off-campus sites throughout Ocean County. The United States soccer league system is a series of professional and amateur soccer leagues based, in whole or in part, in the United States. Sometimes called the American soccer pyramid, teams and leagues are not linked by the system of promotion and relegation typical in soccer elsewhere. Instead, the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) defines professional leagues in three levels, called divisions, with all other leagues sanctioned by the USSF not having an official designated level or division. For practical and historical reasons, some teams from Bermuda, Canada, and Puerto Rico (considered a separate country by FIFA) can also compete in these leagues. David Vaudreuil (born December 21, 1966) is an American former professional soccer player whose career spanned fifteen teams in over six leagues including seven seasons in Major League Soccer. He is the former head coach of Tulsa Roughnecks FC. Vaudreuil was terminated halfway through the Tulsa Roughnecks FC 2018 season. Player Youth Born in Hawaii, Vaudreuil grew up in Canton, Connecticut where he was a 1983 high school All American soccer player at Canton High School. He was a member of the school's 1981 state championship soccer team.
