Jerry Schaefer
Jerry Schaefer (born 1979) is a Canadian actor who is best known for his role as Possum Lake animal control officer Ed Frid on '' The Red Green Show''. Career Jerry is a veteran of The Second City, where he continues to work as an instructor. As a member of the comedy troupe The Chumps, he helped create and perform several long-running pop culture parodies and a series of improvised one-act plays. They also improvised a series for CBC Radio. In film, Schaefer has worked with Carl Reiner and Bette Midler in '' That Old Feeling'', with Bruce McCulloch and Natasha Henstridge in '' Dog Park'', and with Angelina Jolie in '' Pushing Tin''. Ken Nordine
Ken Nordine (April 13, 1920 – February 16, 2019) was an American voice-over and recording artist, best known for his series of word jazz albums. His deep, resonant voice has also been featured in many commercial advertisements and movie trailers. One critic wrote that "you may not know Ken Nordine by name or face, but you'll almost certainly recognize his voice." Life and career The son of Theresia (Danielson) and Nore S. ''Howie Do It'' was a Canadian/American comedy television series, co-commissioned by Global and NBC, that stars Howie Mandel and DJ Ravidrums. The series features practical jokes in the vein of earlier shows like '' Just for Laughs: Gags'', ''Punk'd'' or ''Candid Camera'' – the supposed twist being that the cameras are in the open, not hidden as in the other series. Mandel appears, often incognito, in several of the jokes. After the big reveal, either Howie or one of his assistants then delivers the line "This is ''Howie Do It''!"
