Jerome Moon is an American politician. A Republican, he represents District 8, encompassing parts of Blount County, in the Tennessee House of Representatives. Moon, the former chair of the Blount County Commission, was appointed the State House seat vacated by Art Swann on December 13, 2017. Art Swann
Arthur "Art" Morton Swann (born October 17, 1952) is an American politician who is a Republican member of the Tennessee Senate, representing the 2nd district since December 1, 2017. Prior to being appointed to the state senate to replace Doug Overbey, Swann served in the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing the 8th District both Blount County and part of Sevier County in East Tennessee. Swann was one of twenty-four members of the Tennessee Senate Republican Caucus who signed a letter signed in support of President Donald Trump effort to contest the results of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election. Maryville, Tennessee
Maryville is a city in and the county seat of Blount County, Tennessee, and is a suburb of Knoxville. Its population was 31,907 at the 2020 census. It is included in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area and a short distance from popular tourist destinations such as the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. Gloria Johnson (born May 25, 1962) is an American politician and Democratic member of the Tennessee House of Representatives currently representing District 90, and formerly District 13, based in Knoxville. In April 2023, she and two other state representatives faced expulsion votes from the Tennessee General Assembly after taking to the floor of the State House unrecognized to protest gun violence.
