Jeroen Elshoff
Jeroen Elshoff (born 2 February 1977) is a Dutch football commentator and sports columnist. Elshoff has been active with NOS Studio Sport since August 1, 2008 as a commentator for football matches in the Eredivisie, the top men's football competition in the Netherlands. Elshoff previously worked for Eyeworks Sport where he was often broadcast on Sport1 (previously Canal+). In 2018 Elshoff provided commentary for the World Cup Final on NOS along with Herman Kuiphof, Theo Reitsma and Frank Snoeks. Career Elshoff studied journalism at the University of Utrecht and completed internships with RTV Rijnmond, the Leeuwarder Courant, and the Noordhollands Dagblad. After graduating he become a sports reporter with RTV Noord-Holland where he regularly covered the football clubs Ajax en AZ. Alkmaar
Alkmaar () is a city and municipality in the Netherlands, located in the province of North Holland, about 30 km north of Amsterdam. Alkmaar is well known for its traditional cheese market. RTL Nederland is a Dutch media network, a subsidiary of the RTL Group. The media company is located in Hilversum, although the licences of its TV stations are issued in Luxembourg. History The history of the network dates back to 1989 when dutch minded ''RTL-Véronique'' started airing from Luxembourg. At the time commercial television was prohibited in The Netherlands, but by airing from Luxembourg the law could be bypassed. The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2012 or simply Euro 2012, was the 14th European Championship for men's national football teams organised by UEFA.
