Jeritt Thayer
Jeritt Thayer (born May 3, 1986, in Corona del Mar, California) is a former American soccer player. Career College Thayer played club soccer for the Irvine Strikers and the Wolfpack Soccer Club, and played college soccer at New York University from 2004 to 2007. He began his college career as a defender and finished it as a midfielder, having scored thirty-five career goals. In 2006, he was a second team Division III All American. Professional Thayer turned professional in 2008 when he joined the Wilmington Hammerheads in the USL Second Division. He made his professional debut on April 26, 2008, in Wilmington's opening day 2–0 loss to the Bermuda Hogges. Corona del Mar ( Spanish for "Crown of the Sea") is a seaside neighborhood in the city of Newport Beach, California. It generally consists of all the land on the seaward face of the San Joaquin Hills south of Avocado Avenue to the city limits, as well as the development of Irvine Terrace, just north of Avocado. Bermuda Hogges
Bermuda Hogges were a Bermudian football team based in Hamilton, Bermuda. Founded in 2006, the team played in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Mid Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. On 28 May 2013, the club announced it pulled out of the USL's Premier Development League due to financial difficulties. The team played its home games at the Bermuda Athletic Association Stadium in Pembroke, Bermuda. The team's colours were red, green and white. The 2009 season is the 23rd season played by the United Soccer Leagues. Season titles will be contested by 20 professional men's clubs in the USL First Division and USL Second Division, as well as 37 professional and amateur women's clubs in the W-League and 68 professional and amateur men's teams in the USL Premier Development League. The First Division season kicked off on April 11 with the US Open Cup finalist Charleston Battery and host defending champions Vancouver Whitecaps FC playing to a scoreless tie, while the Carolina RailHawks defeated the visiting Minnesota Thunder 2–1. The season ended on September 20 with the Charleston Battery defeating hosts Minnesota Thunder 3–2. As a change for this season, the Finals will follow the rest of the playoffs in being two legs.
